At Usher 2020, we want to make sure that never happens!
Watch one family’s journey with Usher Syndrome
Every day, people all over the world are slowly losing their sight due to a rare genetic disorder called Usher Syndrome. The real tragedy is that these same people already lost their hearing and struggle with maintaining their balance.
Since 2012, Usher 2020 has been supporting researchers around the world to make sure this doesn’t happen. Specifically, we have been looking for treatments to slow, stop, or reverse the degeneration of sight caused by Usher Syndrome. Through our work, we now have several treatments that are ready to go into clinical trials for those going blind due to Usher Syndrome and Retinitis Pigmentosa. Find out more about how you can support our cause.
